PLOTSEEKER (plotseeker.co.uk) is a specialized property management platform streamlining the short-let accommodation market in London. Built on a bespoke custom WordPress CMS theme, the platform seamlessly connects directly to the Hostfully Property Management Platform via REST API to pull live property inventory, availability, and pricing dynamically, while redirecting booking transactions directly to Hostfully’s secure hosted payment gateway.

Projects Challenge

Managing property listings manually across separate property management systems and website content leads to outdated availability, double-booking risks, and pricing mismatches. The challenge was building a custom high-performance WordPress CMS theme without relying on bloated off-the-shelf plugins, establishing real-time data sync with the Hostfully REST API, and providing a clean, responsive user experience that routes guests effortlessly into the external Hostfully secure checkout flow.

The Solution

Engineered a bespoke custom WordPress CMS theme utilizing clean PHP and modern frontend styling. Integrated the Hostfully REST API to dynamically fetch, parse, and render all property listings with real-time rates, photo galleries, amenities, and calendar availability. Implemented an automated booking handover system where guest reservation requests are instantly validated and smoothly redirected to Hostfully’s hosted payment page for payment processing and automated reservation confirmation.
